Q: Can I use the space for birthday parties, full moon party, ROMs or any other kinds of parties?
A: As parties normally involved food (of course!), Harmony Hall is NOT suitable for parties.
Q: Can I use the space for a stage performance / recitals / poetry reading / stand up comedy / open mic?
A: Sure! However, for music recitals, please note that we do not have a piano on the premises but you are free to bring in your own.
We offer movable stages - we have 4 stages (4' x 3' x 8"(h) each).
Q:. How many people can I fit in the hall?
A: It will depend on the configuration.
1) Theatre-style seating: 100 pax (very comfortable), 120 pax (comfortable).
2) Classroom-style: we have tables for up to 30 (very comfortable), 36 (acceptable).
3) Standing room only: 150 pax
Q: How much do you charge?
A: We offer HALF DAY (4 hours), or FULL DAY rates (8 hours). You will be given the hall up to 60 minutes before the start of appointed time and 30 minutes after to pack up. If you require additional time, then charges will be on a HOURLY basis (to the nearest hour).
Subsidised rates are available for registered non-profit organisations and societies. We do also review on a case-by-case basis your proposal for subsidized rates.

Q: Can I do movie screenings?
A: Of course! In fact, as a 'black box', it is an ideal setting for it.
You can configure so that some can sit on the floor and/or chairs.
We also offer a HDMI-ready projector with a 8' screen.
Q: Can I do workshops?
A: Of course! As it is a blank canvas, we are able to set various configurations. We also offer tables (we have 15) which are large enough that you could place between 2-4 pax on each.
Q: Can I hold an art exhibition?
A: Sure, we offer a Picture Hanging System along our walls. You are welcome to use that and you can also bring in your own easels to place the paintings, etc.
Q: Can I serve food?
A: We are ok with light refreshments (dry finger food, bottled/packet drinks) however, we will need to be informed and a Cleaning Fee applies.
We do not have a food preparation area so STRICTLY no hot food (no bain-maries or food warming system to be brought in)
Q: Can I wear shoes?
A: Harmony Hall is a shoe-free environment. However, if your event requires the wearing of shoes, please let us know and we can discuss this further. Cleaning Fee applies.
